Starting January 9th, students attending Immokalee Technical College (iTech) will now be able to ride a Good Wheels bus from Labelle to their classes for as low as two dollars each way.

Good Wheels Inc. announced the allocation of funds from the Commission for Transportation Disadvantage (CTD) State of Florida grant. The CTD mission is to insure the availability of efficient, cost-effective, and quality transportation services for transportation disadvantaged persons.

“Good Wheels is pleased to continue working with Hendry and Glades Counties to offer more transportation opportunities to help advance education and economic opportunities,” said Alan M. Mandel, CEO Good Wheels.

The new route will run Monday thru Friday from the LaBelle Save A Lot to iTech in Immokalee. The route runs in sync with the school day beginning with pick up at 6:30 am in LaBelle and will leave from iTech at 3:00pm daily after the conclusion of classes. The cost each way for students is two dollars ($2.00).

Students who are interested are required to fill out an application with Good Wheels prior to riding. Applications can be found online at or by calling 239-768-2900 ext. 223.
